BASIC ADJUSTMENT – PURCHASE OF DIY ACCESSORIES – TYRE/TUBE CHANGE
– Adjustments are RD and FD that require re-tuning due to normal use and within the first 500km or 3 months, whichever happens first.
– This could be a situation where the bicycle has a need for an inner tube/tire replacement or some adjustment issues. This does not cover wear and tear or abuse of components.
– Ensure proper tyre Inflation Install Basic accessories purchased at our stores. Do not choose this service if your bike has not been serviced in the last year or if your bike model is more than 7 years old.
Wef 1 Jan 2023, the following bikes will not be accepted:
• Eclipse X20, P9, S18, P18
• Verge S30h or Link P24h
• Jetstream XP, EX, SpeedPro
• All SRAM dual drive systems
• All 24 inch wheels bikes
• Tern Verge X10 Kinetic Comp wheels
• Bikes older than 7 years
Reason is the unavailability of spares for transmission systems
NOTE: Basic tuning without a valid My Bike Shop TUNE-UP card is S$50.00
DROP-OFF HALF SERVICE
This is a service on the transmission areas but excludes the cleaning/re-lube of wheel hubs and bottom bracket.
Ideal for those who have left their bikes stored and unused for a year or less but had a full service done just before it went into “cold storage”. Rust on chains and cassettes will not be evident.
Typically requires a 2-3 days turnaround. But for booked appointments, please come before 2pm and we can turnaround within the day
Please NOTE: if you are booking this as a Basic tune-up, we will have to decline your drop off when you turn up.
• Front and rear brake adjustment.
• Front and rear derailleur adjustment and re-indexing.
• Ensure proper tyre Inflation and checking of rim tape.
• Tighten headset and joints.
• Remove, clean and lube drivetrain.
• Wash and clean bike frame with foam cleaner – (excludes the removal of stains on paintwork).
• Minor wheel truing
For the avoidance of doubt, we will collect S$135 before starting the work. Please collect your bike or we will not be able to to have a slot to handle the next booking. S$10/day storage will be collected after 24 hrs has passed for the collection date.
Also, please wash/clean your bikes before dropping them off. A surcharge of S$25 will be applied for bikes with mud/pet hair/cobwebs on wheels.
DROP-OFF FULL SERVICE
This service is a full service where bearings are removed and necessary cables adjustments are attended to.
ADD S$55 surcharge for bikes in neglected uncleaned condition; minimum 5 working days turnaround.
The ‘royal treatment’
A comprehensive service that ensures that all bearings and moving parts are clean, lubricated, adjusted correctly and working effectively. This is recommended for bikes that are used daily over a long period. A full service would also be useful before and after a long and intensive overseas cycling trip to ensure that the bike is safe.
Please note: if you are booking this a as Basic tune-up, we will have to decline your drop off when you turn up.

• Tighten headset and joints.
• Hub and headset bearing cleaning and re-lube.
• Remove, clean and lube drivetrain.
• Wash and clean bike frame with foam cleaner – (excludes the removal of stains on paintwork).
• Minor wheel truing
• Replace gear and brake cables and housings.
*Replacement of cassette and other spare parts will be recommended if required. Payment before service is commenced.
For the avoidance of doubt, we will collect S$220 before starting the work and apply S$10/day storage if you do not collect your bike after 24 hrs has passed for the collection date.
Please ensure that you are not going away on a planned absence and leaving your serviced bikes at our premises as we have space constraints.
